Where is the new office located? Our new office is located at 500 Davis St, Suite 702, Evanston, IL, 60201. Detailed directions, parking information, and public transit options will be shared closer to the move-in date.
When will you be moving? October 16, 2025. In preparation for the move, ECF staff will work remotely from September 29- October 15, 2025, and will begin using the new office space on October 16, 2025.
Where should I send mail? Please continue to use our current mailing address until October 16, 2025. Our current mailingaddress is: 1560 Sherman Ave, Suite 535, Evanston, IL 60201.
How will I be able to contact staff during the transition? All staff emails and phone numbers will remain the same. During the remote work period, the fastest way to reach us will be via email or phone.
Can I still have an in-person meeting during this remote work time? Yes, ECF staff will be available and accommodating to your needs. We are more than happy to find a space that meets your needs.
Will there be any disruption to donor services during the move? No. From September 29- October 15, staff will work remotely during regular office hours and will perform frequent mail pick-ups.
How does this move affect donors and grantees? For donors, this transition will not affect our donor services in any capacity. You can still reach out to us at at any time, and an ECF staff member will get back to you ASAP. For grantees, this transition will not affect our grantmaking or support services. You can still reach out to ECF staff virtually or via the phone during office hours.
Can I book the new space for meetings and events? Eventually, but rest assured knowing that our new office was designed with community use in mind. As we settle into the new space, we intend to prepare it in a way that local nonprofit partners will be able to reserve space for meetings, workshops, and collaborative gatherings. More details around booking will be made available at a later date.
Will you host an open house? Yes! We plan to host an open house shortly after we settle in the new space. This will be a chance to see the new office, learn how you can use the space, and celebrate this next chapter with us. Stay tuned for an invitation.
