ECF's Commitment to Community Listening

Nonprofit Roundtable: Since March 2020, ECF has co-led a dynamic nonprofit roundtable, bringing together an average of 40 leaders who actively share information, innovative ideas, and pressing concerns. Initiated at the request of former Mayor Hagerty and continued by Mayor Biss, this roundtable is a powerful platform for collective action and community-driven solutions.

Nonprofit Surveys: ECF consistently reaches out to the nonprofit community through regular surveys, gaining invaluable insights into the pandemic's impact on their constituents and organizations. This feedback is crucial for shaping our responsive strategies.

Task Forces: Emerging from the nonprofit roundtable, dedicated task forces comprising community members and representatives from nonprofits, government, and school districts, collaborate to devise informed, impactful responses. These task forces have been instrumental in guiding ECF’s investments, with notable focus areas including the immigrant population, early childhood development, and senior support.
