applying for 2017/18 responsive grants

Responsive grants span a broad range of community opportunities and needs across Evanston. Through the responsive grants program, ECF makes capacity building investments that strengthen nonprofit organizations, as well as grants that improve or expand programs in order to make a difference in Evanston.

This year, ECF is making some improvements to the responsive grants process to streamline the application and strengthen the Foundation’s focus on equity.

The application process for grants between $5000 - $20,000 is underway, with key dates and the process described below. For proposals under $5,000, ECF is instituting a new process which will have a simpler application. The guidelines for these grants will be released in spring 2017, and applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, with grants released quarterly beginning in July 2017.
