2020 annual report: a year like no other

As we look back on the events of 2020, they serve as a reminder of why Evanston Community Foundation exists. In a difficult year, we witnessed Evanstonians coming together to support those in need and helping the community recover and rebuild.

In 2020, we endeavored to Respond, Recover, and Rebuild. The Foundation responded to the COVID-19 crisis by creating the Evanston Community Rapid Response Fund to quickly offer aid to the most vulnerable in the community. We invested in initiatives that aimed to help businesses and families recover from a turbulent year. And we reimagine our path moving forward in the wake of change.
